Mercedes dominated the first day of free practice session at the Bahrain Grand Prix series . This makes Lewis Hamilton became more confident stare subsequent days .
Mercedes topped the two free practice sessions on the first day of the Sakhir circuit , Bahrain , Friday ( 04/04/2014 ) yesterday . Successive Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in top position unassailable followed by Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso .
Related to this , Hamilton judge that the records could not be used as a definitive benchmark for the qualifying session later . But the 2008 world champion admitted that he and his team are now more confident .
" You do not know what fuel everyone else in this session so when you step on the qualifications , you get a better understanding of where everyone stands , " said Hamilton Crash quoted .
" But we feel strong , I feel strong in the car . So let's hope we can be 1-2 again , " he added .
Not to forget , he also commented on the pace of Rosberg who consistently stalking behind .
